More than just practicing religion, God wants to have a personal relationship with you. Our weekend services are where we help people connect with God. We’d love for you to join us.
KNOW FREEDOM
God’s plan is for you to experience freedom, and it begins with an encounter with Jesus Christ. Besides our weekend teachings, we provide a variety of Growth Groups, and age-appropriate classes to help you find freedom.
KNOW PURPOSE
You are an important part of God’s plan, and we believe He has designed you on purpose and for a purpose. We make a number of resources available to help you take the next steps in your spiritual journey.
MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Your life matters to God, and He didn’t call you to live this Christian life alone. We need each other. Together we know God, we find freedom, we discover our purpose, and we all impact our community and the world for the Kingdom of God. We exist to equip God’s people for service.
KNOW GOD
WORSHIP
The mission of the Ephrata Community Church Worship Ministry is to exalt the Lord, edify the body, and evangelize the lost. We also desire to be a people who authentically worship our Father God in Spirit and in Truth. Our service begins with inspiring worship music. During that time, please feel free to stand or sit, lift your hands in worship, or simply be still. How you worship is up to you. God is seeing true worship, so sincerity of heart is what matters.
TEACHING
Our goal is to infuse life and God’s love into people and families through engaging, powerful worship services that offer biblical truth in relevant and practical ways. Each week, we share a practical message from the Bible to help you grow in your relationship with God and to live life in a way that pleases Him.
KNOW FREEDOM
BAPTISM
Baptism is an important step of obedience that shows others we personally trust Jesus for our salvation. Jesus was baptized when he was here on earth, and we do this to follow His example. We believe that water baptism is a public declaration of three important things: you are a follower of Jesus Christ, you are beginning a changed life in Christ, and you are a part of a new family. When we baptize at ECC, individuals are submerged under water to identify with the death and burial of Jesus and raised out of the water to identify with His resurrection.
GROWTH GROUPS
Growth Groups are intentionally designed as a tool for you to grow as a follower of Jesus Christ. Each group includes teaching, table discussion, and practical application in order to deepen one’s relationship with God by experiencing freedom. Join a group that meets together for about six weeks during one of our semesters in a learning and supportive environment. We are confident that you will grow! CONNECT GROUPS
We understand that meaningful relationships can be hard to find, and yet we all need them in order to grow in faith and discover purpose. That’s why we encourage everyone to be part of a Connect Group. These small groups will challenge you to walk closer with the Lord while experiencing the blessing of authentic Kingdom relationships. MISSIONS
Our missions focus at Ephrata Community Church is to make a difference through reaching our world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. To do this we partner with other churches and mission agencies to train disciples, develop leaders, plant churches, and meet the physical and spiritual needs of people. We also provide short-term trips as well as serving and learning opportunities.
